Romamtic Village Fincas
The owners of the hotels, an American writer and an English architectural designer, found their first dream place in the church square of the wine village of Binissalem. Together they transformed an old crumbling building, partly from the year 1,000 and partly from the 18th century, to a marvel of beauty and comfort. Six years later they discovered yet another hotel gem, a small 30 year old apartment complex climbing up the slopes of a divine mountain village. Together they transformed this place into a different kind of rural bliss. The hotel owners run a good restaurant in one of the villages, and serve great food at the rural hotel several days a week in the barbecue area. There are plenty of other good restaurants in the vicinity of both hotels. If you would like to take part in village life and learn more about the production of good red wines you might like to try hotel 8 A. If you would rather just spend time in a zen atmosphere with the loveliest of views, opt for 8 B. But why not stay for four days in one and three days in the other? Mediterranean Travel Review wrote this about hotel 8 A: ''One of the most comfortable and elegant small hotels in the Mediterranean.''
Romantiska hotell i finca-miljö
Ägarna till dessa pittoreska hotell, en amerikansk författare och en engelsk arkitektonisk designer, hittade sitt första drömställe på torget intill byn Binissalems kyrka. Tillsammans förvandlade de den gammal vittrande byggnaden, med anor från 1000-talet och 1700-talet, till ett verk av utsökt skönhet och komfort. Sex år senare fann de ytterligare en hotell juvel, ett 30 år gammalt lägenhetskomplex klättrande uppför sluttningen i en gudomlig bergsby. Nu har de också förvandlat detta ställe till total lantlig idyll. Paret driver en bra restaurang i en av byarna och serverar god mat i barbecue området flera dagar i veckan på det andra hotellet. Det finns också gott om andra bra restauranger i grannskapen. Vill ni lära er mer om livet i en mallorkinsk by och se hur produktionen av gott rödvin går till, föreslår vi att ni väljer hotell 8 A. Om ni hellre söker det totala lugnet i himmelsk miljö passar kanske hotell 8 B bättre. Varför inte prova på några dagar på båda hotellen?
